Progression

Level 1 to 20 in the realm, then gear, stat potions, the Skill Tree and class stars. Fame is what you keep.

Level 1 to 20

The XP curve

XP to reach each level, from the server's own formula (the goal for level L to L+1 is 50 + 100 × (L − 1); 18,050 XP from 1 to 20). Enemies give a tenth of their HP as XP, capped at a tenth of your current level's goal (half for your quest target and bosses), and everyone within 25 tiles gets the full amount. Minutes: a measured run, not a promise (see below).

"Reached at" = minutes from character creation, the median of the decent-skill bots playing solo through the real realm on 2026-10-15 (content/design/balance/MEASURED-1-20.md, fast zone schedule). A good player in a group is faster; XP has been retuned since, and Sloan's own time to 20 decides. Most of the time goes before the godlands: they pay 10 to 18 times any other zone.

Per class

Stat caps

Start → max for each class, from the class XML. Stat potions raise a stat toward its max.

The Skill Tree

A 195-node grid you light up one node at a time from your starting corner, each node next to one you already have. A full build spends about 82 points. 128 nodes add a flat stat, 59 add a percentage, and 8 are sub-classes: a big bonus with a drawback. Runes sit in slots on the tree and change how you play; you unlock each one for your whole account by using a nodestone, which bosses and elite gods drop.

Sub-classes

  • Survivor 18% HP · 18% MP · −9% ATK · +4% Fire Rate
  • Infiltrator 5% SPD · 25 EVA · −20% DEF · −5% DEX · −5% ATK · −5% VIT · −5% HP
  • Sentinel 40% DEF · 10% HP · −8% DEX · −8% Fire Rate
  • Looter 15% Loot Boost · −12% HP · −12% MP · −7% DEX · −7% ATK · −7% WIS · −4% DEF · −4% SPD · −4% VIT
  • Maniac 10% DEX · 5% Fire Rate · −12% ATK · −8% HP · −4% SPD · −4% VIT
  • Butcher 15% ATK · −6% DEX · −5% Fire Rate · −4% SPD · −4% DEF · −3% WIS · −3% VIT
  • Juggernaut 20% VIT · 12% HP · −5% DEF · −5% SPD · −5% DEX · −5% ATK
  • Adept 20% WIS · 12% MP · −5% DEF · −5% SPD · −5% DEX · −5% ATK

Drops

Loot Boost

Odds on this site are base odds per roll, before Loot Boost. Loot Boost is a plain percentage: each point multiplies your private rolls by 1 % more (Loot Boost 25 = ×1.25), with no cap. Legendary gear you wear gives +5 each, Primal and Galactic gear +10, lucky charms add theirs from your bag, and the Loot Drop Potion gives +50 for 30 minutes. The tree's Loot nodes and the Looter sub-class add to it too. See Loot for the base odds.

What you keep

Fame and class stars

Fame is earned as you play (a thousandth of your XP, and everything past level 20 turns into fame) and is paid out when a character dies, with bonuses for what that character did. Each class earns stars from its best fame on a single character:

★
20 fame
★★
150 fame
★★★
400 fame
★★★★
800 fame
★★★★★
2,000 fame

Fame buys roster space and veterans on the Muster Board, a Backpack (2,000 fame in the Nexus) and more.

Professions

Fishing

Every realm zone has three fishing spots beside water (Lowlands, Midlands, Highlands, Godlands), and the Nexus has its own cove with the Fishmonger on the deck. Stand on a spot and press Fish: a four-second cast, and moving cancels it. Catches are common (75 %), uncommon (20 %) or rare (5 %), plus three ultra-rare specials: the Lifeblood Carp and Mindwell Eel (0.5 % each), and the Gilded Sunfish in the Godlands only (0.25 %). Fishing has its own level, up to 50, shared by your whole account (XP: common 10, uncommon 20, rare 40, ultra 100). Sell fish to the Fishmonger for fame (4 for a Pebblefin up to 250 for a Gilded Sunfish); the Lifeblood Carp (200 HP) and Mindwell Eel (150 MP) cannot be sold: in the fish slot they refill you from the potion keys every 30 seconds, and a carried Gilded Sunfish gives Loot Boost +10. All three are lost on death.

Fishing levels do not unlock anything yet; account-wide rewards (vault space, backpacks, bonuses) are planned.
